Title: SVP, Sales 
Location: Remote (with up to 50% travel nationwide)

Daisy is the fastest growing national smart space installation and services company. Launched in January 2024, we have acquired and franchised multiple home technology service businesses, while also building support for these businesses to enable growth, including call center, marketing, branding, HR, accounting, and technology. We’re looking for a SVP of Sales who will drive Daisy’s growth across the country. This individual will oversee the branch sales teams, set sales performance goals, and work with teams on a routine basis to ensure goals are met and exceeded. The SVP of Sales will partner with the marketing team to ensure strong lead flow, as well as with the technology team to assess lead quality and manage leads in our CRM. A true cross-functional role, the SVP of Sales must also be able to understand the importance of engineering, design, and project management in delivering quality client proposals that can be delivered satisfactorily by our teams. The SVP of Sales will ensure the appropriate incentives and commission structures are in place to drive optimal performance across the team. The SVP of Sales will work to improve sales cycle teams, as well as improve conversions. Finally, our SVP of Sales will be willing to work with our teams and franchisees in the field, sharing best practices, conducting ride-alongs, and ensuring success. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Support Daisy’s rapid growth by leading sales teams across the country 
  • Set sales goals for Daisy and cascade by branch and individual 
  • Develop key performance indicators and metrics and hold sales team accountable and support based on needs and gaps 
  • Develop appropriate incentives and commission structure to drive optimal performance 
  • Ensure sales team has tools and resources needed to drive performance, including in-home and digital designs, quoting, and proposals 
  • Partner cross functionally with marketing, operations, engineering 
  • Participate in ride-alongs and in-home assessments to guide, coach, and model winning sales approach for branch teams and franchisees 

Background & Skills:

  • 15+ years of experience in operations roles 
  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • MBA preferred but not required
  • Experience with home services sales
  • Experience with franchisees preferred 
  • Experienced with custom integration preferred 
  • Strong collaboration and negotiation skills
  • Proven analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities, last-minute changes and requests – experience in a fast paced, start-up environment preferable to be set up for success 
  • Strong time-management and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to look at the "big picture" without overlooking the smaller nuances
  • Ability to lead a team and keep team members motivated, informed, and aligned
  • Strong communications skills – particularly around presenting highly technical ideas and information in a way that is easily accessible
