Manager, Strategic Finance and Corporate Development

Full Time • Costa Mesa
About Daisy

At Daisy, we’re pioneering the future of smart spaces—making homes and offices more connected, comfortable, and joyful through technology. As the first national smart space installation and services company, we’re growing fast. We are seeking a Manager, Strategic Finance, to support our team and make an immediate impact on the business.

Why You’ll Love This Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manager of Strategic Finance and Corporate Development. If you love solving complex problems, mergers and acquisitions, building robust financial models, and thinking strategically, this is the ideal opportunity for you.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Identify growth opportunities through market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and internal data insights.
  • Lead financial due diligence for Daisy and other franchisee transactions
  • Conduct root cause analysis on underperforming areas of the business (pricing, operations, sales effectiveness, etc.).
  • Act as an internal consultant to business units, recommending improvements in financial performance, cost management, or operational effectiveness.
  • Build complex Excel models to forecast revenue, costs, unit economics, and ROI.
  • Use scenario planning to evaluate trade-offs and risks under different strategies.
  • Evaluate new business initiatives (e.g., launching in a new market, new product lines) through DCF, NPV, IRR, and other methodologies.
  • Partner with executives and teams across product and operations to align financial plans with technical constraints and business goals.
  • Help drive annual and quarterly strategic planning cycles, aligning them with long-term goals.
  • Advanced Excel experience (nested formulas, macros, pivot tables, sensitivity tables, etc.)
  • This is a hybrid role at the intersection of strategic finance and M&A. You’ll drive financial analysis that supports both day-to-day business decisions and long-term growth through acquisitions,  integration support, partnerships, and other corporate development efforts.
What You Bring to the Team
  • Engineering or other quantitative STEM degrees, with a strong interest in business.
  • MUST have experience in mergers & acquisitions.
  • Flexibility is key — we need someone who can wear multiple hats and pivot quickly as business needs change.
  • Experience at a top-tier consulting firm or in a strategic finance function at a high-growth company.
  • Naturally curious and analytical—enjoys digging into data and asking "why?"
  • Confident in ambiguous environments; ability to turn unstructured problems into structured solutions
  • Excellent communicator who can influence stakeholders and explain complex ideas in simple terms.
Work Environment & Expectations
  • Monday - Friday remote workplace with up to 20% travel to various job sites and branches.
What We Offer
  • $140,000 – $150,000 depending on experience and skillset
  • Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance
  • 401K
  • Three weeks of paid time off
  • Remote flexibility
  • Opportunity to shape a key service offering in a rapidly growing company
  • Collaborative and innovative work culture
